While the U.S. southern border is still inundated with thousands of illegal border crossings each month, we're not the only country struggling with this issue. The South American country of Chile is being overwhelmed by migrants crossing from Bolivia, and they've deployed their military to try and stop the flow.

President Joe Biden assumed office exactly one year ago, and although he declared at a press conference yesterday that he "probably outperformed what anyone thought would happen" in his first year, Americans are frustrated—and rightfully so. When it comes to foreign policy alone, one can't help but think that American interests are less secure and our allies more frustrated with us than last year.

An unidentified person paid a ransom that freed three missionaries kidnapped by a gang in Haiti under an agreement that was supposed to have led to the release of all 15 remaining captives early last month, workers for the Ohio-based Christian Aid Ministries (CAM) have now revealed.

When Kent Albright, a Baptist pastor from the United States, arrived as a missionary to Spain in 1996, he was unprepared for the insults and threats, or the fines from the police for handing out Protestant leaflets on the streets of Salamanca. He couldn’t have imagined that 25 years later, he would be pastoring an evangelical congregation of 120 and count about two dozen other thriving Protestant churches in the northwestern city.
